Bobby Lashley made his way to the ring with Lio Rush by his side. Both men awaited Lashley’s biggest challenge yet in the form of The Demon, Finn Balor.

Balor quickly took the offense to Lashley with spin kicks. Lashley headed to the outside of the ring but Balor took the aerial route and struck the Intercontinental Champion. Rush tried to interfere but Balor scared him away. This gave Lashley a chance to get an advantage on Balor.

After back and forth strikes, Balor hit Lashley with the Slingblade and sent him into the ring. Balor was on his way to the top rope but Rush managed to get Balor’s attention and in that moment, Lashley managed to hit Balor with a breath-taking Spear through the ropes with both of them landing outside the ring.

Lashley brought Balor back into the ring and hit him with another Spear for a near fall. Balor gained control and hit Lashley with a Powerbomb and made his way up the turnbuckle and landed on Lashley, hitting him with the Coup de Grace for the three count. Balor pinned Lashley and is now a two-time Intercontinental Champion.

Lashley was in the ring about to talk to Charly about what he thought about the rumors that Finn would bring out his Demon on Sunday at Wrestlemania, but would be interuptted by Finn on the titantron. Balor would go on explaining that he would concider some concern, that he’s always been a guy who’s had Demons and that at Wrestlemania, his Demon would be Bobby Lashley’s nightmare. As smoke covered over Balor’s face it would clear to show the Demon King himself, growling and snarling at the screen, letting Lashley know that he wouldn’t be facing Finn Balor at Wrestlemania, but the Demon King. Leaving both Lashley and Lio in the ring a little worried.

Rush would poke at Finn, telling lashley that the leperchaun was mad because Lasley had his pot of gold around his waist. Once Lio was done running his mouth Finn explained that Lio should know his partner well, annoucing that his partner was Braun Strowman.

Braun would start the match later tagging in Finn as the hits went back and forth between Lio and Finn, just for Finn to tag back in Braun. Braun would throw Rush everywhere in the ring before being speared by Lashley, but Finn would attack Lashley then be attacked my Lio and be sent outside the ring. Lio realized what he had to do climbing to the top rope and landing on the Monster, only to then be thrown off as Strowman stood up and began to chase Lio around the ring before he was cornered by Finn. Lio tried to run back into the ring but Finn grabbed him and held him so Braun could hit him, but Lashley had speared Finn into Mike Rome and the rest of the time keepers. Braun then got Rush back into the ring and hit him over and over again with a body slam starring down Lashley as he walked away and up the ramp leaving Rush alone in the ring to be pinned by Braun which picked up the win for Braun and Finn.

Finn was seen backstage heading to gorilla greeting everyone backstage including Bayley and Sasha as he gave them both a hug before it cut to commercial.

Finn came out, limping slowly down the ramp not even doing is normal arm thing, you can tell how much pain he was in. Once to the ring he would grab a mic and begin to speak, talking about his match last night with Brock Lesnar. Admitting that Brock one, but that was soon all ruined once Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush came out to confront Balor. The two squared off in the ring, standing face to face as Lio would poke and poke at Finn, bragging that Lashley was the better man and could actually win a title. Finn had enough and would bring up the fact Lashley didn’t last long in the Rumble and that he lasted longer in his match with Brock. Lashley didn’t like what Balor had just told him as he would begin to attack Balor. Once finished attacking him, he would leave Balor laying in to ring before leaving the ring.

Finn was the first to come out, making the Balor Club rise he felt proud and knew everyone believed in him. Once in the ring the Beast would soon make his way out. Finn didn’t let Brock warm up, and went in for the attack. Being in control most of the match, Brock would throw Balor over the ropes only to then get kicked in the face by Balor, which once again Balor would be in control, only for Brock to switch things up and take control. On the outside it looked like Brock was gonna put Balor through the table but it turned out that Balor threw Brock into the side of the table injuring the Beast and hitting him with 4 over the top rope dives. Finn would continue to take control of the match only to get suplexed by Brock and what we thought would of been the end, Finn kicked out and showed he still had some fight in him. Climbing to the top rope Finn would get ready to hit Brock with a Coupe De Grace, hitting him, and went for the pin only for Brock to the kick out and quickly turn the table around and put Balor in a Kimuar Lock, Balor would try his hardest to get out and slide his way over to the bottom rope but Brock had a tight grip on his arm causing Balor to tap out. Once the match was finished, Brock was not, picking up Finn over and over again hitting him with a Suplex, then leaving the WWE Universe thinking he was finished only to finish off with an F-5 that he tried to give Balor earlier in the match but couldn’t before leaving the ring, with Balor looking dazed.

In regards to his ring gear for this Sunday at the Royal Rumble, Finn Balor told ESPN, “I feel like maybe I leaned on the demon too much there in the past as a crutch, and I can assure you that the man who faces Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble will be Finn Balor, the man. I think a lot of people were surprised when I came out at WrestleMania not in demon paint but I feel like I had a bigger message to spread that day — one of equality and acceptance. Honestly, this match just kind of came about so fast that I haven’t had much time to think about it. I don’t have any new gear, I don’t have any new looks, I don’t have any new ideas right now, but you know, we’re still six days away, so I’m sure I’ll come up with something.”

To kick off RAW, Brock and Paul came out and started to talk about Finn, and how he couldn’t beat Brock at Royal Rumble. Later on Vince would come out to fix Paul, making the WWE Universe think that he actually believed in Finn, but he would then explain he doesn’t believe in Fair Tails. Braun would then come out and say his words to Brock, only for Finn to join in and spew his words. He would explain to Vince that he got the David and Golith wrong and that David was in the shadow of a Giant, which he then would face him and lay him face down into the dirt. He would then turn his attention to Brock explaining he would beat him and reclaim the title he never lost. Vince would then tell Brock to stay out and sit at ringside because it was gonna be Braun vs Finn and the match was next before it cut to commerical.

After commerical the match was on, Braun was in charge most of the match, but Finn would quickly turn things around and continue to go after Braun. Later on in the match Braun would throw Finn into Brock which he would give Finn a Suplex. Lesnar and Braun would have a stare off, only for Finn to pull Lesnar off the ring and onto the floor then throwing him into the ring post, and kicking him into the barricade. He would then get back into the ring to focus on Braun, and then dive over the top rope onto Brock, then getting back into the ring and focus his attention on Braun. Climbing to the top rope getting ready for a Coupe De Grace, hitting Braun then as soon as he was about to go for the pin, Brock came in and gave Finn an F-5, causing a DQ. Leaving Finn in the ring, Lesnar would then head backstage.
